Abstract
This article conducts an in-depth analysis of Mr. Ba Jin's classic novel "Home", aiming to explore the specific manifestations of feudal ethics in the work and its profound impact on family relationships and character fate, and reflect on its significance in modern society. Firstly, the introduction section clarifies the background and significance of studying "Jia", clarifies the research ob jectives and methods, and summarizes the current research status at home and abroad, laying a foundation for subsequent analysis. Chapter 2 introduces the background and social environment of the creation of "Home", outlines the plot and main characters, and reveals the main themes reflected in the work, namely the collapse of the feudal family system and the awakening of a new generation of youth. Chapter Three delves into the ex pression of feudal ethics in "The Family", starting from its definition, characteristics, status, and role, specifically showcasing the feudal ethics imprints in the hierarchy, power structure, and character behavior and thoughts within the family. It also explores its shaping effect on the character's personality and destiny, as well as the character's resistance and compromise towards it. The fourth chapter focuses on the family relationships in "The Family", analyzing the definition, classification, and ex pression of family relationships in literary works. By specifically depicting the contradictions and conflicts of father son, mother son, and brother relationships, it reveals the profound influence and changes of feudal ethics on family relationships. Finally, the article discusses the importance of family relationships in modern society, as well as the modern interpretation and reconstruction of traditional family relationships.
