This article focuses on the in-depth study of Tao Yuanming, a literary figure from the Eastern Jin Dynasty, in his "Peach Blossom Spring", aiming to explore the ideal rural image depicted in it and the profound connotation of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Firstly, the introduction section elaborates on the research background, significance, purpose, methods, and current research status both domestically and internationally, clarifying the academic value and exploration direction of this article. Subsequently, Chapter 2 provides a brief introduction to "The Peach Blossom Spring", including the author Tao Yuanming's life and creative background, the literary value of the work, and its profound influence in the history of Chinese literature. It also delves into the theme and ideas of the work, revealing its beautiful aspirations for an ideal society. Chapter Three focuses on interpreting the ideal rural image in "The Peach Blossom Spring", analyzing it from three dimensions: natural environment and rural layout, social organization and interpersonal relationships, economic life and cultural traditions.
