Abstract
With the continuous expansion of the power grid scale and the increasing complexity of the power system, traditional protection measures are no longer able to meet the needs of the power system. The research and application of AC digital relay protection systems have become an important means to ensure the safe and stable operation of power systems. This article mainly conducts a detailed research and application exploration on the AC digital relay protection system.Then, the design issues of the AC digital relay protection system were emphasized, including hardware and software design requirements, as well as the design ideas and implementation methods of key modules. On the basis of system design, the debugging and testing process of AC digital relay protection system, as well as the testing and verification methods of system reliability, were introduced. Finally, through practical application cases, the practical application effect of AC digital relay protection system in power systems was analyzed, and the problems and solutions encountered in the system's practical application were explored. This article can provide useful reference and guidance for power system engineers.
