Abstract


This article focuses on seismic reinforcement design, aiming to improve the seismic performance of building structures and ensure their stability and safety under earthquake action. The research content covers the basic concepts, theoretical foundations, technologies and methods, as well as practical applications of seismic reinforcement design. Firstly, clarify the definition of seismic reinforcement design, which refers to the design process of retrofitting and strengthening existing building structures to improve their seismic resistance. Next, explore the principles and standards of seismic reinforcement design to ensure the scientific and rational nature of the design process. Analyzing the structural response theory under earthquake action, revealing the vibration characteristics and damage mechanism of the structure under earthquake action. At the same time, the evaluation method of structural seismic performance was introduced, providing a scientific basis for seismic reinforcement design. In addition, the mechanical principles of seismic reinforcement design were elaborated in detail, including force balance and transmission, structural dynamic characteristics, energy dissipation and seismic reduction principles, etc., providing theoretical support for seismic reinforcement design. In the section of technology and methods, this study introduces traditional seismic reinforcement technology and new seismic reinforcement technology, and analyzes the applicability and advantages and disadvantages of various technologies. At the same time, the construction and management of seismic reinforcement technology were discussed, providing guidance for practical engineering. In the practical application section, this study combines specific cases to explore the application of seismic reinforcement design in residential buildings, public buildings, bridge structures, and ancient building protection. Through case analysis, the ideas, technical choices, and implementation effects of seismic reinforcement design were summarized, providing reference and guidance for practical engineering. Aiming to form a complete theoretical system and technical methods for seismic reinforcement design, providing scientific theoretical support and practical guidance for seismic reinforcement of building structures. Through in-depth research and practical application, it is expected to improve the seismic performance of building structures and reduce the threat of earthquake disasters to the safety of people's lives and property.
