Abstract
As an important trend of contemporary architectural development, green building aims to achieve energy saving, environmental protection and sustainable development of buildings through innovative design and application of advanced technology. Among them, as an important part of green building, green roof has been widely concerned and applied for its unique ecological function, beautification effect and economic benefits. This paper deeply discusses the concept, design principles, technical points and implementation strategies of green roof in green building design, aiming to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the design and implementation of green roof in green building. The design of green roof should fully consider many factors such as regional climate, building structure, use function and landscape effect. In terms of design concept, the green roof emphasizes harmonious symbiosis with the surrounding environment, and builds an ecologically balanced roof system by means of plant configuration and soil layer design. In the design principle, the green roof should follow the principles of safety, applicability, aesthetics and economy to ensure the safety of the roof structure, smooth drainage, good plant growth, and meet the needs and aesthetic requirements of the building users. In terms of technical points, the design and implementation of green roof involves the construction of multiple levels such as waterproof layer, drainage layer, filter layer, soil layer and vegetation layer. The waterproof layer should be made of waterproof materials with strong durability and root puncture resistance to ensure that the roof does not permeate; The drainage layer, through reasonable slope design and drainage facilities, will quickly discharge excess water to prevent water accumulation on the roof; The filter layer is used to prevent soil particles from clogging the drainage layer.
