Abstract
As a literary masterpiece depicting the rural life in the north, the profound Hulan River local cultural connotation has attracted extensive attention and multi-dimensional interpretation. This paper aims to deeply analyze the local culture contained in the Biography of Hulan River, and explore its significance and value in the context of modern society. The Biography of the Hulan River reproduces the unique local culture of the Hulan River Basin through exquisite brush strokes and rich plot. The depiction of the farming life, the display of family and community life, the reproduction of traditional customs and festivals, as well as the delicate desc ription of the natural environment, all enable readers to deeply feel the charm and uniqueness of local culture. At the same time, the author Xiao Hong integrates the humanistic spirit into the desc ription of the natural environment, showing the interdependence and mutual influence between man and nature, and further enriching the connotation of local culture. This paper makes a deep interpretation of the local culture in Hulan River Biography from multiple dimensions. First of all, from the perspective of history and region, the paper analyzes the formation background and development context of local culture, and reveals its inheritance and evolution in the historical changes. Secondly, from the perspective of humanistic spirit, this paper discusses the family concepts, community spirit and traditional values contained in local culture, as well as the significance and value of these concepts in modern society. In addition, this paper also analyzes the conflict and integration between local culture and modern society, and discusses the challenges and opportunities of local culture under the background of globalization, as well as how to inherit and carry forward local culture in modern society.
