The problem of insufficient training of practical ability in preschool education and its improvement strategy

Abstract: Hands-on ability is an important part of preschool children's development, which is of great significance for their future learning, life and innovation ability. However, there are many shortcomings in the training of practical ability in preschool education, which leads to the restriction of children's development in practical practice and innovation. This paper deeply analyzes the problem of insufficient training of practical ability in preschool education, and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies in order to improve the quality of preschool education and promote the all-round development of children. At present, the problems in the training of practical ability in preschool education mainly include: first, the education concept emphasizes knowledge imparted and neglects practical operation, which leads to the neglect of the training of practical ability; Second, the uneven allocation of teaching resources, the lack of special hands-on practice places and equipment, limiting children's hands-on practice opportunities; Third, the teaching method is single, lack of interest, it is difficult to stimulate children's hands-on interest and enthusiasm; Fourth, teachers lack of awareness of practical ability training, lack of professional training and guidance. To solve the above problems, this paper puts forward the following improvement strategies: First, change the educational concept, pay attention to the cultivation of practical ability, and incorporate it into the core goal of preschool education; Secondly, optimize the allocation of teaching resources, increase special hands-on practice places and equipment, and provide children with sufficient opportunities for practice; Thirdly, innovative teaching methods are adopted, such as gamification and project-based teaching methods, to stimulate children's hands-on interest and enthusiasm; Finally, strengthen teacher training, improve teachers' cognitive level and teaching ability for practical ability training, and ensure the effectiveness of education and teaching. Through the implementation of the above improvement strategies, we can effectively improve the training quality of hands-on ability in preschool education, and promote the development of children in hands-on practice, innovation and creation. At the same time, it also helps to cultivate children's independent learning ability, problem solving ability and teamwork spirit, laying a solid foundation for their future study and life.
