Abstract

With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, how to improve energy efficiency while ensuring communication quality has become a hot research topic. In this paper, the research background, significance, present situation, purpose and problems of energy efficiency optimization in wireless communication are discussed. The definition of energy efficiency in wireless communication is clarified, and the main sources of energy consumption in wireless communication system are analyzed, which provides a theoretical basis for the follow-up research. The theoretical basis and measurement method of energy efficiency optimization are described, which provides a basis for evaluating the energy efficiency of wireless communication systems. Then, it focuses on the energy efficiency optimization technology of wireless communication system, including progressive modulation technology, user positioning optimization technology, base station energy saving technology and network topology optimization technology. These technologies are designed to reduce system energy consumption and improve energy efficiency by improving transmission strategies, optimizing resource allocation and improving the rationality of network topology. The energy efficiency optimization algorithm of wireless communication system is also discussed, including power control algorithm, resource allocation algorithm, channel scheduling algorithm and intelligent algorithm. These algorithms maximize the energy efficiency of the system by optimizing the processes of power allocation, resource scheduling and channel selection on the premise of guaranteeing communication quality.
