Abstract:This article takes a certain company as an example to study employee motivation and performance evaluation based on performance management. The literature review section introduces the theoretical basis, concepts, and methods of employee motivation, performance management, and employee performance evaluation, providing theoretical basis and empirical support for subsequent case studies. The case analysis section provides a detailed desc ription and analysis of a company's performance management system, employee incentive mechanism, and employee performance evaluation methods, revealing the company's successful experience and shortcomings in performance management. In the research results analysis section, combined with literature review and case analysis, the impact of employee motivation on performance, the impact of performance evaluation on employee motivation, and the differences in performance management among employees at different levels were explored. Finally, based on the research results, corresponding conclusions and suggestions are proposed. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of employee motivation and performance evaluation, while also pointing out that incentive mechanisms and evaluation methods should be designed based on the different characteristics and needs of employees.
