中文摘要:随着全球化进程的加速,跨文化心理学逐渐成为研究人类行为与心理过程的重要领域,而家庭教育作为塑造个体价值观和行为模式的核心环节,其在不同文化背景下的差异性尤为值得关注。本研究旨在从跨文化心理学视角出发,系统比较中西方家庭教育观念的异同,并探讨这些差异背后的文化根源及其对个体发展的影响。研究采用定量与定性相结合的方法,通过问卷调查、深度访谈及案例分析,收集了来自中国和美国的1200组家庭数据,重点考察教育目标、亲子关系、权威观以及学业期望等方面的内容。结果显示,中国家庭教育更强调集体主义、权威服从和学业成就,而西方家庭则倾向于个人主义、自主性和情感表达。此外,研究发现文化价值取向和历史传统是导致这种差异的关键因素。

Abstract:With the acceleration of globalization, cross-cultural psychology has gradually become an important field to study human behavior and psychological process, and family education is as the core link of shaping individual values and behavior patterns, and its differences in different cultural backgrounds are particularly worthy of attention. This study aims to systematically compare the similarities and differences between Chinese and Western family education concepts from the perspective of intercultural psychology, and to explore the cultural roots behind these differences and their influence on individual development. By combining quantitative and qualitative methods, 1200 groups of family data from China and the United States were collected through questionnaire survey, in-depth interviews and case analysis, focusing on educational ob jectives, parent-child relationship, authoritative views and academic expectations. The results show that Chinese family education emphasizes more collectivism, authority obedience and academic achievement, while Western families tend to emphasize individualism, autonomy and emotional ex pression. Moreover, studies have found that cultural value orientation and historical tradition are the key factors contributing to this difference.
