Abstract: This article aims to explore the theoretical basis, strategies, and methods of innovation in primary school Chinese language education, as well as the direction and value of future development. Firstly, this article introduces the research background, purpose, and current research status at home and abroad, and elaborates on the importance and necessity of educational innovation. Secondly, this article analyzes the models and shortcomings of traditional primary school Chinese language education, and proposes strategies and methods for educational innovation, including curriculum design and teaching content innovation, teaching methods and means innovation, evaluation system and teaching management innovation, etc. Finally, this article summarizes the limitations and prospects of innovation in primary school Chinese language education, proposes the direction and value of future development, and provides useful references for the reform and development of primary school Chinese language education.
