摘 要：《红楼梦》作为中国古典文学的巅峰之作，其诗词在人物塑造中发挥了不可忽视的作用。本研究旨在探讨小说中诗词与人物形象之间的深层联系，通过文本细读与比较分析相结合的方法，考察诗词如何体现人物性格、情感及命运走向。研究发现，《红楼梦》中的诗词不仅丰富了人物的内心世界，还以其独特的艺术形式强化了人物的社会身份与文化修养。例如，林黛玉的《葬花吟》深刻展现了其敏感脆弱的性格特质，而薛宝钗的咏柳絮词则凸显了她的稳重内敛。此外，通过对诗词创作情境的还原和解读，本文揭示了作者曹雪芹运用诗词预示人物命运的独特手法。本研究创新性地将诗词功能置于整体叙事框架下进行系统分析，为理解《红楼梦》的人物塑造提供了新视角，同时深化了对古典文学中诗词叙事功能的认识，为相关领域的研究奠定了理论基础。

The Influence of Poetry on Character Portrayal in "Dream of the Red Chamber"

Abstract：As the pinnacle of Chinese classical literature, Dream of the Red Chamber features poetry that plays an indispensable role in character portrayal. This study investigates the profound connection between the poetry and character representation in the novel by employing a combination of close reading and comparative analysis to examine how poetry reflects characters' personalities, emotions, and fates. The findings reveal that the poetry in Dream of the Red Chamber not only enriches the inner worlds of the characters but also reinforces their social identities and cultural sophistication through its distinctive artistic form. For instance, Lin Daiyu's "Elegy for Flowers" profoundly illustrates her sensitive and fragile character traits, while Xue Baochai's poem on willow catkins highlights her steadiness and reserve. Furthermore, by reconstructing and interpreting the contexts of poetic creation, this study uncovers Cao Xueqin's unique technique of using poetry to foreshadow characters' destinies. Innovatively integrating the function of poetry into the overall narrative fr amework for systematic analysis, this research provides a new perspective on character portrayal in Dream of the Red Chamber and deepens the understanding of the narrative function of poetry in classical literature, laying a theoretical foundation for related studies.
