摘 要
当代社会的快速城市化进程中，城市边缘人群作为特殊的社会群体，其生存状态与精神追求逐渐成为文学创作和学术研究的重要议题。本研究以当代小说为切入点，聚焦城市边缘人群的生活境遇与心理变迁，旨在揭示其在现代化浪潮中的复杂处境及其对意义和价值的追寻。通过文本细读与比较分析相结合的方法，选取具有代表性的作品进行深入探讨，发现这些小说不仅展现了边缘人群在物质匮乏与社会排斥下的挣扎，还凸显了他们试图突破困境、重塑自我认同的精神努力。研究结果表明，当代小说中对城市边缘人群的刻画超越了传统意义上的同情与批判，更多地体现了对个体生命韧性和文化多样性的尊重与肯定。本研究的创新点在于从文学叙事的角度重新审视这一群体的精神世界，并将微观个体经验与宏观社会变迁相联结，为理解城市化进程中的社会分化提供了新的视角，同时丰富了相关文学批评的理论框架。

Abstract
In the process of rapid urbanization in contemporary society, as a special social group, the living state and spiritual pursuit of urban marginal people have gradually become important topics in literary creation and academic research. Taking contemporary novels as the starting point, this study focuses on the living situation and psychological changes of the marginalized urban fringe people, aiming to reveal their complex situation in the tide of modernization and their pursuit of meaning and value. Through the combination of text reading and comparative analysis, representative works are selected for in-depth discussion, and we find that these novels not only show the struggle of marginalized people under material scarcity and social exclusion, but also highlight their spiritual efforts to break through difficulties and reshape their self-identity. The results show that the depiction of urban fringe people in contemporary novels goes beyond the sympathy and criticism in the traditional sense, and more reflects the respect and affirmation of individual life resilience and cultural diversity. The innovation point of this study is to re-examine the spiritual world of this group from the perspective of literary narrative, and connect the micro individual experience with the macro social change, providing a new perspective for understanding the social differentiation in the process of urbanization, and enriching the theoretical fr amework of relevant literary criticism.

Abstract
