Abstract: This article introduces the basic knowledge of digital signal processing and audio processing, and explores the application of digital signal processing in audio processing. Firstly, the basic knowledge of comparison, sampling, and quantization between digital signal processing and analog signals was introduced. Secondly, the characteristics and representation of audio signals, time-domain and frequency-domain analysis, as well as basic principles and methods were introduced. Finally, the application of digital signal processing in audio signal enhancement and denoising, audio signal compression and coding, as well as audio special effects and sound processing was elaborated in detail. The research in this article indicates that digital signal processing has broad application prospects in audio processing, which can provide effective support and assistance for audio signal processing.
