Abstract
This paper analyzes the exquisite narrative techniques in ancient prose in detail, and probes into how these techniques provide valuable enlightenment for modern prose creation. Through the in-depth analysis of ancient literary masterpieces such as Sima Qian's Records of the Grand Historian, Liu Zongyuan's prose, Zuo Zhuan and War State Policy, this paper reveals the unique charm and outstanding achievements of ancient prose in narrative. These works are not only famous for their profound ideological content, but also for their exquisite narrative techniques to win the praise of the world. Specifically, this paper first summarizes several typical narrative techniques in ancient prose, including unique narrative perspective, flexible narrative structure, concise and vivid language art, and sincere and deep emotional ex pression. Subsequently, this paper combines these ancient narrative techniques with modern prose creation practice to demonstrate their extensive application and inheritance in contemporary literary works. In modern prose, writers learn from the narrative techniques of ancient prose, through a variety of narrative perspectives, innovative narrative structure, integration of modern ex pression of ancient language and art, as well as deep digging and conveying sincere emotions, so as to make their works more profound and appealing. In addition, this paper also emphasizes the enlightenment of ancient prose narrative techniques to modern prose creation. It encourages modern writers to pay attention to the depth and breadth of narrative in their creation, flexibly use various narrative techniques, pursue the refinement and vividness of language, and pay attention to the truth and resonance of emotions. These inspirations not only help to improve the creation level of modern prose, but also help to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
