本文全面探讨了动物象征在古代文学中的定义、功能、文化背景及其现代转型。文章首先在绪论部分介绍了研究的背景、意义和目的，并概述了动物象征的研究现状。动物象征概述部分，定义了动物象征的功能和文化背景，分析了古代文学中动物象征的特点，并提出了研究的意义与方法。在动物象征的意象解析部分，文章深入探讨了龙、鹤、虎等动物的象征意义，揭示了它们在古代文化中所承载的皇权、道德、高洁、勇猛等多重寓意。诗歌中的动物象征部分，分析了古典诗歌中的动物意象如何与诗人情感、诗歌主题和形式相结合，展现了动物象征在文学创作中的重要作用。动物象征的文化解读与现代转型部分，文章讨论了动物象征的文化意义、与文化认同的关系，以及在现代文学中的传承和创新。此外，还探讨了动物象征在跨文化交流中的表现和现代意义与价值。本文的研究不仅有助于我们更深入地理解古代文学中动物象征的丰富内涵，而且对于认识动物象征在现代社会中的转型和价值具有重要意义。通过对动物象征的系统研究，我们可以更好地把握古代文化与现代社会的联系，促进文化的传承与发展。

A study of animal symbols in ancient literature
Abstract
This paper comprehensively discusses the definition, function, cultural background and modern transformation of animal symbol in ancient literature. Firstly, the paper introduces the background, significance and purpose of the study in the introduction, and summarizes the current research status of animal symbolism. The outline of animal symbol defines the function and cultural background of animal symbol, analyzes the characteristics of animal symbol in ancient literature, and puts forward the significance and method of research. In the part of the image analysis of animal symbols, the article deeply discusses the symbolic meanings of animals such as dragon, crane and tiger, and reveals the multiple meanings of imperial power, morality, noble and brave in ancient culture. The part of animal symbol in poetry analyzes how the animal image in classical poetry combines with the poet's emotion, poetic theme and form, and shows the important role of animal symbol in literary creation. In the part of cultural interpretation and modern transformation of animal symbol, this paper discusses the cultural significance of animal symbol, its relationship with cultural identity, and its inheritance and innovation in modern literature. In addition, it also discusses the ex pression of animal symbol in cross-cultural communication and its modern significance and value. The study of this paper not only helps us to understand the rich connotation of animal symbols in ancient literature, but also has great significance for understanding the transformation and value of animal symbols in modern society.
