Parental involvement in education has a significant impact on the academic and psychological development of primary school students. This article first introduces the definition and types of parental involvement in education, as well as its importance in the primary school stage. It then explores the effects of parental involvement on fostering students' interest in learning, motivation, and social skills. Finally, strategies to enhance parental involvement in education are proposed, including strengthening communication and cooperation between parents and schools, providing parental education and training, and advocating for family participation in education. Through effective parental involvement in education, a conducive learning environment and a positive family atmosphere can be created for primary school students, promoting their academic and psychological development.
