Abstract
This article aims to explore the issue of unclear legal application of property damage compensation and its adjustment measures. In the relevant theoretical overview section, the article defines and scope of property damage compensation, sorts out the provisions of civil law on property damage compensation, and explores the application principles of courts in property damage compensation cases. Furthermore, the article delves into the issue of unclear legal application of property damage compensation. These issues mainly include unclear legal application standards, inconsistent court rulings, unclear evidence requirements, and unclear legal compensation limits and methods. These issues often lead to uncertainty in the adjudication of property damage compensation cases in judicial practice, causing difficulties for the parties involved. To address these issues, the article proposes corresponding adjustment strategies. Firstly, it is necessary to clarify the legal application standards for property damage compensation, improve relevant legal provisions, and establish clear standards for determining the amount of compensation.
