Abstract
This article conducts in-depth research on Shakespeare's classic comedy "Everyone is Happy", aiming to reveal the artistic value and contemporary significance of the work through the exploration of its character shaping and social implications. The introduction section elaborates on the research background, significance, purpose, and methods, and summarizes the current research status at home and abroad, laying a foundation for subsequent analysis. Chapter 2 provides a brief introduction to the background, creative process, plot summary, and main characters of "Everyone is Happy", showcasing the basic fr amework and characteristics of the work. The third chapter deeply analyzes the multiple dimensions of the role shaping in the play, including the character characteristics and growth trajectory of the main characters, the role of supporting role in promoting the plot, and the strategies to show the complexity of the role through portrait depiction, inner monologue, action performance, dialogue and communication and other artistic techniques. At the same time, the interrelationships and conflicts between characters were explored, revealing how these interactions drive the development of the plot and deepen the character image. The fourth chapter focuses on the social symbolism in "Everyone is Happy", revealing its profound social critical consciousness by analyzing the feudal class contradictions, the brilliance and darkness of human nature reflected in the work.
