Abstract
This article delves into the multiple values of the literary work "Fuyang Xiaoji" from the Qing Dynasty (or specific era). Through a detailed analysis of its creative background, main content, literary ex pression, and local sentiment, it reveals the unique position and profound influence of this work in literary history. The article first outlines the research background and significance, aiming to explore the cultural connotations and contemporary values of local literature, and provide a new perspective for understanding the relationship between ancient rural society and literature. Chapter 2 introduces the background and social environment of the creative era of "Fuyang Xiaoji", providing a macro fr amework for understanding the work. Subsequently, the main content of the work was outlined, showcasing the author's vivid depiction of the local customs and traditions of Fuyang region. Chapter Three focuses on local sentiment, analyzing the delicate ex pression of local sentiment, the inheritance of local culture, the observation and reflection of local society in the work, as well as the conflict and integration between local sentiment and modernity, showcasing the author's profound local sentiment and sharp insight into the changes of the times. The fourth chapter turns to the analysis of literary ex pression, comprehensively analyzing the artistic charm of "Fuyang Xiaoji" from four aspects: language characteristics and style, narrative techniques and structure, character shaping and emotional ex pression, and the use of symbols and me taphors.
