Abstract
This paper aims to explore the role and value of fairy tales in preschool education. Through the elaboration of the definition and classification of fairy tales, this paper further explores the role of fairy tales in children's moral education, language ability, imagination and creativity, and in children's emotional education. At the same time, this paper also proposes effective teaching strategies to help children better understand and feel fairy tales. In terms of reflection and development, this article explores the problems and shortcomings in fairy tales, as well as the direction of fairy tales in the future. This paper points out that fairy tales are not only an important part of preschool education, but also an indispensable part of the growth process of young children, and have a positive role in promoting the life growth of young children.
