Abstract


This paper aims to discuss the causes of the lack of reading habits of primary school students, and put forward the corresponding optimization countermeasures. It is found that the causes of the lack of reading habits of primary school students mainly include the lack of management concepts, the lack of interest in reading, the lack of mastery of reading methods and the weak awareness of self-reading. The lack of management concept leads to the fact that schools and families do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of reading habits, while the lack of strong interest in reading makes students lack the motivation to read actively. In addition, the lack of mastery of reading methods and the weak awareness of self-reading also further hinder the formation of students' good reading habits. To improve this situation, this paper proposes a series of optimization countermeasures. First of all, it is necessary to adjust the educational concept, improve the curriculum, and establish an incentive mechanism to improve students' interest and motivation in reading.
