Abstract
"Li Sao" is a treasure of ancient Chinese literature, created by Qu Yuan, a poet from the late Warring States period of the Chu state. It is a passionate and philosophical long lyrical poem. Qu Yuan, a nobleman of the state of Chu, left a brilliant mark in the history of Chinese literature with his outstanding talent and firm patriotism. Qu Yuan's life was full of ups and downs and legends. He came from a noble background and was deeply trusted by King Huai of Chu in his early years. However, he was ostracized due to political struggles and ultimately committed suicide by throwing himself into the river. Qu Yuan's life experience provided a profound emotional foundation for the creation of Li Sao. "Li Sao" was created during the exile of Qu Yuan, and the poem is full of worries about the fate of Chu and emotions about personal experiences. Qu Yuan expressed his patriotism and life pursuit through poetry, expressing his deep concern for the state of Chu and the people. Li Sao stands out in the history of Chinese literature with its unique literary characteristics. It has a strong romanticism color, showcasing a magnificent and fantastical art world through magnificent imagination and brilliant literary talent.
