Abstract
"Qingyu Case: New Year's Eve" is one of the representative works of the famous poet Xin Qiji in the Southern Song Dynasty. Xin Qiji, with his unique artistic style and superb literary attainments, displays the prosperous scene of Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) in this poem, and skillfully integrates his personal feelings and thoughts. Xin Qiji, a famous writer and military strategist during the Southern Song Dynasty, was renowned for his bold and unrestrained style of poetry and profound social insight. His works often express personal emotions, reflect social reality, and have profound ideological connotations and unique artistic charm. This poem takes the Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) as the background, describes the prosperous scene of the festival, and expresses the poet's loneliness and dissatisfaction with reality. By depicting images such as "lights", "BMW carved cars", and "melancholy", the poet showcases the grandeur of the festival, while also expressing his noble aspirations and longing for an ideal realm through the image of "that person". This word presents rich and vivid imagery, as well as implicit and profound emotional ex pression in literature.
