Abstract
Pride and Prejudice is Jane Austen's representative work. This British female writer of the early 19th century, with her keen observation and unique literary style, presents readers with a vivid and vivid picture of rural society in late 18th to early 19th century England. The novel provides an overview of the love and marriage experiences of the five daughters of the Bennet family, especially the winding love story between the protagonist Elizabeth Bennet and the wealthy prince Darcy. The relationship between the two has gone from initial arrogance and prejudice to ultimate understanding and love, demonstrating how love transcends the constraints of social hierarchy and family values. In terms of creative background, the novel originates from Austin's personal experience and observation of the surrounding society. During her creative process, she constantly revised and improved, and ultimately completed this timeless work.
