《三国演义》作为中国古代四大名著之一，其丰富的人物塑造和独特的艺术表现一直为后世所传颂。本文旨在深入探讨《三国演义》中主要人物的性格特点及其艺术表现方式。通过对刘备、曹操、关羽、张飞等核心人物的性格进行深入剖析，本文揭示了这些人物性格如何影响他们的行为决策，进而推动故事情节的发展。同时，文章还分析了作者在塑造这些人物性格时所采用的文学手法，如对比、夸张、象征等，以及这些手法如何增强人物性格的艺术感染力。在刘备的性格分析中，我们看到了他的仁爱、宽厚以及强烈的道德感，这些性格特点使他成为了众多英雄的楷模。而曹操的性格则展现出了他的奸诈、多疑以及强大的政治手腕，这些特点使他在三国鼎立的局势中占据了一席之地。关羽的忠义、勇猛以及张飞的直率、勇猛，都是他们性格中最为鲜明的特点，这些性格特点不仅使他们在战场上英勇无畏，更使他们在历史上留下了深刻的印记。在探讨人物性格的艺术表现时，本文发现作者通过丰富的对话、行为描写以及环境烘托等手法，生动地展现了人物性格的多样性和复杂性。同时，对比、夸张等文学手法的运用，进一步强化了人物性格的艺术效果，使读者能够更加深刻地理解和感受这些人物的性格特点。

Abstract
As the romance of the Three Kingdoms, one of the four great classics in ancient China, its rich characterization and unique artistic ex pression have been praised by later generations. This paper aims to explore the character characteristics and artistic ex pression of the main characters in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Through an in-depth analysis of the core characters of Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and so on, this paper reveals how these characters influence their behavior decisions, and thus promote the development of the story. At the same time, the article also analyzes the literary techniques used by the author to shape these characters, such as contrast, exaggeration, symbol, and how these techniques enhance the artistic appeal of the characters. In the analysis of Liu Bei's character, we can see his benevolence, generosity and strong sense of morality, which have made him a model for many heroes. Cao Cao's character showed his treacherous, paranoia and strong political skills, which gave him a place in the situation of The Three Kingdoms. Guan Yu's loyalty and bravery, as well as Zhang Fei's frankness and bravery, are the most distinctive characteristics of their character. These character characteristics not only made them brave and fearless on the battlefield, but also made them leave a deep mark in history. When discussing the artistic ex pression of the character's character, this paper finds that the author vividly shows the diversity and complexity of the characters' character through rich dialogue, behavior desc ription and environmental foil. At the same time, the use of literary techniques such as contrast and exaggeration further strengthens the artistic effect of the characters, so that readers can more deeply understand and feel the character characteristics of these characters.
