Abstract: The cultivation of preschool children's social ability has a crucial impact on their future social adaptability and interpersonal skills. However, there are many shortcomings in the cultivation of preschool children's social ability, which need to be solved urgently. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the problem of insufficient cultivation of preschool children's social ability, and to explore effective strategies to promote the comprehensive development of preschool children's social ability. In the aspect of preschool children's social ability cultivation, the main problems include: first, the content and methods of education are not targeted, and the characteristics of preschool children's physical and mental development and individual differences are not fully considered, resulting in poor social ability cultivation; Second, the influence of family and social environment on preschool children's social ability is insufficient, parents and society do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of preschool children's social ability, lack of corresponding support and guidance; Third, preschool children themselves have shortcomings in social ability, such as lack of self-confidence, poor communication, poor cooperation ability. To solve these problems, this paper puts forward the following improvement strategies: First, optimize the educational content and methods, design targeted social ability training programs according to the physical and mental development characteristics and individual differences of preschool children, and pay attention to cultivating preschool children's self-confidence, communication ability and cooperation spirit; Secondly, the support of family and social environment should be strengthened.
