Abstract
This article aims to delve into the utopian ideas and literary ex pression techniques in Peach Blossom Spring, and analyze their literary value. Firstly, the paper provides an overview of "The Peach Blossom Spring" and the background of its author Tao Yuanming, including a brief introduction to Tao Yuanming's life, the creative background of the work, and the basic content. Subsequently, the article analyzed in detail the manifestation of utopian ideas in "The Peach Blossom Spring", including the construction of an ideal society, the living conditions of residents, criticism of the real society, and longing for an ideal society. Among them, the construction of an ideal society is mainly reflected in the simplification of social structure and the system of shared property, while the living conditions of residents demonstrate harmonious interpersonal relationships and rich spiritual life. In addition, the article also explores the criticism of the real society in Peach Blossom Spring, including the criticism of war and tyranny, as well as the reflection on human greed and desire. Next, the paper explores the literary ex pression techniques of "The Peach Blossom Spring", including the combination of virtual and real narrative techniques, vivid white drawing techniques, delicate psychological desc riptions, and the use of symbols and me taphors.
