Abstract
This paper systematically studies the application of blockchain technology in digital copyright protection and its challenges and coping strategies. First, the article outlines the foundations of blockchain technology, including its definition, structure, and type, providing a solid theoretical basis for subsequent analysis. Then, the article deeply discusses the practical application of blockchain in digital copyright protection, including improving the efficiency of copyright registration, enhancing the reliability of rights confirmation, promoting the transparency of copyright transactions, realizing the automation of smart contracts, preventing piracy and infringement, and reducing the cost of rights protection. Blockchain technology also faces a series of challenges in the application of digital copyright protection, such as the possible infringement risks brought by anonymity, the legal constraints of smart contracts, data privacy and security issues, and the difficulties of cross-chain data interaction and standardization. To meet these challenges, this paper proposes corresponding strategies, including strengthening identity authentication and traceability mechanism to ensure the authenticity and traceability of copyright information, develop legal norms for smart contracts to clarify the legal effect of contract and dispute resolution mechanism; strengthen data encryption and authority management to protect the security and integrity of copyright information, and promote cross-chain standardization and interoperability to realize seamless connection and data sharing between different blockchains. The implementation of these strategies will help blockchain technology play a bigger role in the field of digital copyright protection.
