Abstract: This study aims to explore the impact of job burnout on employee performance, and analyze the factors and regulatory strategies that affect job burnout. In the research background and significance section, the importance of job burnout in modern professional life was introduced, and the significance of studying job burnout on employee performance was emphasized. In the relevant theoretical overview section, the definition and characteristics of occupational burnout were clarified, and its classification and causes were discussed. At the same time, the definition and indicator system of employee performance were elaborated. In the section on the impact of job burnout on employee performance, the impact of job burnout on employee work motivation and motivation, work quality and efficiency, job satisfaction, and turnover intention was explored. In the section on factors and control strategies that affect occupational burnout, the effects of organizational and individual factors on occupational burnout were discussed, and corresponding control strategies and intervention measures were proposed.
