Abstract
This article discusses the application of ultra-high-voltage direct current transmission technology in power grid construction, environmental protection, and energy conservation. The article introduces the development overview, basic principles, and current research status of ultra-high-voltage direct current transmission technology in the fundamentals and theories section. In terms of application, the article discusses in detail the application of ultra-high-voltage direct current transmission technology in power grid planning and construction, optimization and upgrading, as well as the enhancement of power grid safety and stability. Additionally, the article explores the environmental impact and corresponding measures of ultra-high-voltage direct current transmission technology, as well as its role in energy utilization and conservation. The ultra-high-voltage direct current transmission technology has significant application value in power grid construction, power transmission, power grid stability control, and environmental protection. It has become one of the main technical means for some electrically developed countries to achieve cross-border power transmission.
