Abstract
This paper aims to explore the theoretical overview of patent licensing, analyze the shortcomings of patent licensing market, and put forward corresponding suggestions for improvement, in order to further improve the protection of intellectual property rights to provide certain references. Based on the analysis of types, functions and market status, this paper puts forward three suggestions: perfecting laws and regulations, supporting the development of market and strengthening the supervision of trade associations. By strengthening the protection of intellectual property rights and promoting the healthy development of the patent licensing market, it can promote the development of the industry and technological innovation, improve the market competitiveness, and provide the licensees with convenient ways of technology application, so as to better play the economic benefits of the patented technology in the market.
