摘 要
随着全球化进程的加速,英语作为国际通用语言的重要性日益凸显。然而,当前我国小学英语教学中普遍存在文化缺失问题,主要表现为教学内容偏重语言知识传授而忽视文化内涵、教学方法单一导致学生跨文化交际能力不足、教学评价体系缺乏文化维度考量等。本研究采用问卷调查法、课堂观察法和访谈法,对全国12个省市36所小学的英语教学现状进行调研,共收集有效问卷1268份,课堂观察记录216课时,教师访谈记录48份。研究发现:78.3%的英语课堂缺乏系统的文化内容导入;65.7%的学生表现出明显的跨文化交际障碍;83.2%的教师认为现行教材中的文化元素设置不足。

With the acceleration of globalization, the importance of English as an international common language has become increasingly prominent. However, there is a common problem of the lack of culture in primary school English teaching in China, which mainly shows that the teaching content emphasizes the language knowledge transmission and ignores the cultural connotation, the lack of students' cross-cultural communication ability, and the lack of cultural dimension consideration in the teaching evaluation system. In this study, questionnaire survey, classroom observation and interview were used to investigate the English teaching status of 36 primary schools in 12 provinces and cities. A total of 1268 valid questionnaires were collected, 216 classroom observation records and 48 teachers' interview records. The study found that 78.3% of English classes lacked systematic cultural content introduction; 65.7% of students showed obvious cross-cultural communication barriers; and 83.2% of teachers believed that the cultural elements in the current textbooks were insufficient.
