This article aims to explore the impact of data collection on green supply chain management, with a focus on the selection of data collection methods and their effects on environmental responsibility and economic benefits for businesses. Through methods such as environmental monitoring, data analysis, and supplier evaluation, this article investigated and summarized the application of data collection in green supply chain management. The results indicated that data collection can help businesses understand environmental responsibility issues and potential economic benefits in the supply chain, and take corresponding improvement measures. Questionnaires can help businesses understand the environmental performance of suppliers and select high-quality suppliers for cooperation. Environmental monitoring can help businesses identify environmental issues in the supply chain, take timely action to solve problems, and improve the environmental performance of the supply chain.
