With the rapid development of medical imaging technology, radiation protection has become a critical issue in ensuring the health and safety of both patients and medical staff. This study aims to investigate the current application status of radiation protection technologies in medical imaging equipment and propose optimization strategies to reduce unnecessary radiation doses while enhancing image quality. By integrating literature analysis, case studies, and experimental validation, this research systematically evaluates the radiation protection technologies of mainstream medical imaging devices and introduces an innovative protection scheme based on intelligent control and personalized parameter adjustment. The findings indicate that the adoption of advanced dose management algorithms and adaptive shielding technologies can significantly decrease radiation exposure levels while maintaining or improving the accuracy of diagnostic imaging. Additionally, the study reveals that real-time dose monitoring and feedback mechanisms incorporating artificial intelligence technology can further enhance protection efficacy. Ultimately, it is concluded that the future development of medical imaging equipment should focus on integrating efficient protection technologies with intelligent management systems to achieve dual optimization in radiation protection and image quality, thereby providing safer and more reliable solutions for clinical applications. This research offers new insights and practical references for radiation protection technologies in the field of medical imaging.
