云计算平台虚拟机迁移能耗研究

摘  要

随着云计算技术的快速发展,数据中心能耗问题日益凸显,其中虚拟机迁移作为优化资源分配和降低能耗的重要手段,已成为研究热点。本研究旨在分析虚拟机迁移过程中的能耗特性,并提出一种基于动态能耗预测模型的迁移优化算法。通过构建包含计算、存储和网络传输能耗的综合评估体系,结合实际数据中心运行数据进行仿真验证,结果表明该算法能够有效减少迁移过程中的额外能耗,同时提升系统整体能效。与传统迁移策略相比,所提方法在保证服务质量的前提下,可实现平均15%以上的能耗节约。此外,研究还揭示了不同负载场景下迁移频率与能耗之间的非线性关系,为制定更精细的能耗管理策略提供了理论依据。本研究的主要创新点在于首次将动态能耗预测融入虚拟机迁移决策中,从而实现了能耗与性能的平衡优化,为绿色云计算的发展提供了新的思路和技术支持。

Abstract

With the rapid development of cloud computing technology, the energy consumption issue in data centers has become increasingly prominent. Virtual machine migration, as a critical approach for optimizing resource allocation and reducing energy consumption, has emerged as a research hotspot. This study focuses on analyzing the energy consumption characteristics during virtual machine migration and proposes an optimization algorithm based on a dynamic energy consumption prediction model. By constructing a comprehensive evaluation system that incorporates computation, storage, and network transmission energy consumption, and leveraging real-world data center operational data for simulation validation, the results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce additional energy consumption during migration while enhancing the overall energy efficiency of the system. Compared with traditional migration strategies, the method achieves an average energy savings of over 15% without compromising service quality. Furthermore, this research reveals a nonlinear relationship between migration frequency and energy consumption under different workload scenarios, providing theoretical support for developing more refined energy management strategies. The primary innovation of this study lies in its integration of dynamic energy consumption prediction into virtual machine migration decision-making, thereby achieving balanced optimization between energy consumption and performance, and offering new insights and technical support for the advancement of green cloud computing.
