Abstract: This article is a research report on avian cholera virus, aiming to explore the transmission, risk factors, control, and prevention strategies of avian cholera virus. Firstly, this article provides an overview of the definition, pathogen characteristics, clinical symptoms, and impact of the avian cholera virus. Secondly, research progress was focused on exploring the transmission pathways and infection mechanisms of avian cholera virus, risk factors and susceptibility of host animals, as well as the impact of environmental factors on epidemic outbreaks. Subsequently, this article proposes strategies for controlling and preventing avian cholera virus, including vaccination, animal management, environmental hygiene, and monitoring and early warning mechanisms. Finally, the main content and research conclusions of this article are summarized. The research in this article indicates that avian cholera virus is a highly contagious virus, and its transmission routes mainly include direct contact and environmental pollution. Host animals and environmental factors have a significant impact on the transmission and outbreak of avian cholera virus. Control and prevention strategies such as vaccination, animal management, environmental hygiene, and monitoring and early warning mechanisms can effectively reduce the transmission risk and epidemic losses of avian cholera virus. The research results of this article have important guiding significance for in-depth understanding of the transmission patterns and control measures of avian cholera virus, and also provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for the prevention and control of avian cholera virus.
