Abstract
This paper focuses on the performance of swallowing disorder in stroke patients and its nursing difficulties and countermeasures. As a common clinical symptom, swallowing disorder covers any dysfunction in the whole swallowing process from the mouth to the esophagus. The main symptoms include dysphagia, cough and food reflux, and its incidence is particularly significant in patients with stroke. Swallowing disorders not only affect the absorption of nutrients in stroke patients, leading to malnutrition, but also seriously reduces the quality of life of patients and greatly reduces the eating experience. There are many difficulties in the nursing process of swallowing disorders in stroke patients. Firstly, the uncertainty of diagnosis brings challenges to nursing work; secondly, the risk of aspiration pneumonia threatens the safety of patients; in addition, problems such as insufficient nutritional intake, limited food speed and improper diet management; finally, the degree of psychological support also affects the rehabilitation process of patients, and this paper proposes corresponding nursing countermeasures. Firstly, various assessment tools should be used to accurately determine the swallowing function of patients; secondly, reduce the risk of aspiration pneumonia; make personalized dietary plan for patients to ensure nutritional intake; in addition, swallowing skills should be trained, and detailed diet management guidelines should be developed; finally, psychological assessment and intervention should be strengthened to provide comprehensive support for patients. By implementing these countermeasures, it can effectively improve the swallowing disorders of stroke patients, improve their quality of life, and promote the rehabilitation process. The study in this paper is important for guiding the nursing practice of swallowing disorders in stroke patients, and also provides reference and reference for subsequent related studies.
