Abstract
This paper explores the dual role of social media in employee recruitment and brand building, and reveals its strategic value in modern enterprise management. Firstly, the paper summarizes the definition, classification, characteristics and development trend of social media, which lays a theoretical foundation for the subsequent analysis. Then, the paper elaborates on the multiple functions of social media in employee recruitment, including broadening recruitment channels and scope, enhancing recruitment efficiency and accuracy, enhancing employer brand image, and promoting talent community building and talent retention. Using case studies, the article shows how social media can help companies attract and retain high-quality talent at lower cost and faster. In terms of brand building, the article points out that social media is an important tool to enhance brand exposure and awareness, shape and convey brand image and values, and promote user participation and brand interaction. At the same time, social media also plays an irreplaceable role in crisis management and reputation maintenance, which can help enterprises timely respond to negative public opinion and maintain brand image. To sum up, this paper emphasizes the key position of social media in employee recruitment and brand building, and puts forward specific strategies to optimize recruitment process and strengthen brand building by using social media. For modern enterprises, making full use of social media resources can not only effectively improve the efficiency of human resource management, but also enhance brand influence and achieve sustainable development.
