This paper aims to explore the impact of internationalization on the business models of financial institutions and provide corresponding strategies and recommendations. Firstly, we start by examining the background and trends of internationalization, analyzing the impact of globalization and technological advancements on financial markets, and summarizing the characteristics and roles of international financial markets. Next, we discuss the effects of internationalization on the business models of financial institutions, including the expansion and diversification of business scope, the upgrading of risk management and regulatory requirements, and the adjustment of organizational structure and operational models. Finally, we propose strategies and recommendations for financial institutions to respond to internationalization, including expanding strategies and choosing internationalization development paths, strengthening risk management and compliance capabilities, and enhancing technological innovation and digital transformation.
