An educational strategy study on the emotional intelligence development of primary school students

Abstract

This paper focuses on the research of educational strategies for the development of emotional intelligence of primary school students, aiming to explore the current status, existing problems and corresponding solutions of the development of emotional intelligence of primary school students. By combing the concept of emotional intelligence, the characteristics of development stage and the relationship between emotional intelligence and other abilities, the theoretical basis of emotional intelligence development of primary school students is constructed. On the one hand, we should build a comprehensive emotional education system and make up for the deficiency of current emotional education by setting up emotional education courses and promoting the balanced development of emotional intelligence. On the other hand, we should advocate diversified educational evaluation methods, including emotional intelligence into the evaluation system, so as to stimulate the development potential of emotional intelligence of primary school students. This paper also calls for creating a supportive social environment to improve the social cognition of emotional intelligence and provide strong support for the development of emotional intelligence of primary school students. This paper not only deeply analyzes the current situation and problems of emotional intelligence development of primary school students, but also puts forward practical education strategies, which provides theoretical reference and practical guidance for promoting the all-round development of primary school students and improving the level of emotional intelligence.
