Abstract


This article provides a comprehensive overview of the concept, characteristics, and constituent elements of the core competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, including key aspects such as technological innovation capability, marketing capability, and organizational management capability. The article first defines the core competitiveness and elaborates on its uniqueness, value, scalability, and dynamism, emphasizing the importance of these elements in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. Furthermore, the article provides an in-depth analysis of the necessity for small and medium-sized enterprises to enhance their core competitiveness, pointing out that this is crucial for adapting to rapid market changes, responding to intense competitive pressures, achieving optimized resource allocation and improving operational efficiency, as well as promoting innovation driven and sustainable development. However, small and medium-sized enterprises also face many challenges in enhancing their core competitiveness, such as small scale, insufficient follow-up development capabilities, low market access barriers, difficulties in financing, shortage of funds, insufficient innovation capabilities, lack of core technologies, and weak corporate culture construction. In response to these issues, the article proposes corresponding strategies, including promoting the transformation and upgrading of small and medium-sized enterprises, improving product quality and service levels to enhance market competitiveness; Relieve financial pressure by expanding financing channels; Encourage innovation and increase independent research and development efforts to master core technologies; At the same time, clarify the positioning of corporate culture, strengthen the construction of corporate culture, and lay a solid foundation for the long-term development of the enterprise.
